Ducks Unlimited, Willapa River Wetland Restoration Project – October, 2007

Dear Jeff,

On behalf of Ducks Unlimited, I would like to thank you and your staff for the fine work done on the (Willapa River Wetland Restoration Project)…..As you know, the site conditions were less than ideal much of the time, and the timeline with which we had to complete the project left no room for a lack of production.  Thankfully, and despite an unusually wet summer, the crew’s hard work, professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to deal with the adverse weather and changing site conditions resulted in the project being completed on time.

I would recommend Bowers Construction to anyone who asks, and I look forward to working with your company again in the near future.

Sincerely,
Ducks Unlimited, Inc.

Steve Liske, P.E.
Senior Regional Engineer

Grays Harbor County – Grays Harbor Raceway Grandstand Tower Project, 2003

Dear Jeff,

On February 24, 2003, Grays Harbor County opened bids for our Grandstand Tower project.  Your firm was low bidder and Notice to Proceed was issued on March 5, 2003.  The project consisted of reconstruction of the Grandstand Tower, a two-story structure with retail sales below and viewing, announcing, and press box areas on the upper level.

The project was completed and accepted by the County on May 8, 2003.  Three (3) owner-requested change orders for additional work were approved during construction.

The project was completed on time with a very short construction schedule for which the County and our race track promoter, Brownfield Promotions, were very appreciative, as the project was completed before the start of racing that spring.

The project is now three (3) years old and is functioning well.  It is the centerpiece of the Raceway.

Grays Harbor County is very pleased with the facility and appreciates the efforts and workmanship by Bowers Construction on this project.

Sincerely,

Kevin Varness
Director of Utilities and Development
